Knee Pain: Even after an operation to replace his knee joint, followed by physiotherapy and various tests to check that the operation had been technically successful, John was still experiencing a great deal of pain in the area of his knee joint. Amazingly just a few rounds of EFT eliminated the pain.
Distress: Gill was very distressed when she phoned. She had been involved in an incident in which she was wrongly accused of something. Although the situation had been sorted out and her innocence proved she was extremely upset. Applying EFT quickly calmed her and took away the feeling of distress. She then felt ready to apply EFT again to eliminate the upset feelings and thoughts that the incident had given her. She felt relieved and totally different after what was a relatively short session of EFT.
Bad Habits: The distasteful habit by some people to spit in the street was something which Lee found really stomach churning. Unfortunately it is a common occurrence in the area he lives. With the help of EFT the disgust he felt has been neutralized so that he can now view these people and their habit in a dispassionate way.
Anti-social neighbours: Mary has neighbours who are extremely noisy. The continuous racket from early morning to late evening was draining Mary’s energy as she couldn’t relax being totally mindful of the noise. This was making her feel angry that she couldn’t find any peace in her own home. Working with EFT Mary was able to eliminate all the negative feelings that surrounded this situation. Gradually she felt at peace with herself and was able to switch off to the noise so that it no longer troubled her.
Relationships: Lilly was in her early teens when her dad left home; he walked out and didn’t come back. Not only was Lilly broken hearted but she blamed herself for her dad leaving. Consequently she doubted that her dad, who she adored, had ever loved her. In adulthood Lilly realized that her feeling of rejection and the way she had learnt to deal with it to avoid further hurt, was influencing her relationships with men. Using EFT brought to light lots of issues which stemmed from the trauma of her dad going from her life. These issues were all released in turn until Lilly felt that the pain of the memories had gone away and she was ready to embrace a new relationship in a more positive and open way.
Fear of Fire: Sandra was the victim of a house fire. All the occupants were able to escape and fortunately nobody was injured but the memory of the flames ripping through her home left Sandra with a fear of fire and being trapped by the fire. She became anxious and always looked for her escape route when in a situation that might trap her, always worrying about getting out should there be a fire. Working through the whole scenario of the evening of the fire and remembering all the details while applying EFT took away Sandra’s fear and anxiety.
Victim of Theft: While shopping in her local supermarket Jan had her purse stolen. Security was called and a suspect was quizzed but as the purse wasn’t found (maybe it had been passed to an accomplice) there wasn’t any proof that this was the culprit, even though Jan was sure that this person was the thief due to their suspicious behaviour. Jan was shocked that someone had gone into her bag to take her purse and that it was done so quickly and in an instant. She felt stupid that she hadn’t been able to stop it from happening from right in front of her. She also felt that her privacy had been invaded. Using EFT to calm her feelings about the theft and to take away the upset Jan was then able to focus on the practicalities of cancelling credit cards and arranging for new ones to be issued.
